Mark Mulligan is the Chief Photographer at The Daily Herald in Everett, Washington.

The Herald was awarded 1st Place for Best Use of Photography  for newspapers under 75,000 circulation in the NPPA's 2014 BOP Photo Editing contest. Mark was honored to receive the Susan Hutchison Bosch Award  from the Western Washington chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in May of 2014.

Before working at The Herald, Mark worked for the Times Community newspapers in Northern Virginia after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin.

He is married to photographer Annie Mulligan, where they live in Everett with one-year-old James Zoomer Mulligan and another baby due in December 2014.
